We are seeking a skilled Code 10 Driver with a dangerous goods certificate to join our client’s team in the LPG sector. This permanent, full-time position is based at our depot in Markman, Port Elizabeth. Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as directed, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Safely load and unload payload, taking measures to prevent stock losses.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in proper running order and kept clean.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets, and driver health assessments accurately and diligently.
- Verify and sign off on all stock loaded per delivery, ensuring accuracy with pick tickets and delivery notes.
- Fuel the truck and maintain fuel purchase records.
- Assist with inventory tasks as directed by the storeman/supervisor.
- Participate in staff orientation and training programs.
- Adhere to all company Health and Safety protocols.
- Report incidents promptly and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Valid dangerous goods certificate
- Forklift license (advantageous)
