Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team in Bruma, Gauteng. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 8 hours of work per day on an as-needed schedule. The role offers competitive hourly compensation (To Be Confirmed) and an immediate start date.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate product information and assist customers in making selections.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a satisfactory shopping experience.
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance with a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions and special offers.
- Handle cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and process refunds and exchanges accurately.
- Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring proper stock management.
- Neatly stock shelves and ensure product availability.
- Restock items promptly when they run out.
- Dispose of store and storeroom waste appropriately.
- Assist with regular stock takes.
- Adhere to safety, security, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including the storeroom and kitchen.
