Overview:
TWK Agri is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Trade Division as a Cashier in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Bag, box, wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment.
- Compute and record transactions accurately.
- Count money in cash drawers at the start of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and sufficient change is available.
- Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
- Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical scanners.
- Greet customers upon entry.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers.
- Maintain periodic balance sheets of transaction amounts.
- Receive payments by cash or card.
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
- Stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items.
- Conduct stock takes as needed.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Computer literacy.
- Previous experience as a cashier.
- Ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
