Overview

We are seeking a Chief People Officer for our FerroAlloys Division. This leadership role is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources and Talent Management within the division. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to drive transformation, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement HR Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Talent Management: Attract, recruit, onboard, and retain top talent. Develop talent management strategies, succession plans, and career development programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
  • Learning and Development: Develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies, providing opportunities for continuous learning and career growth.
  • HR Technology Management: Manage current and implement new HR technology systems to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Leadership Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and board of directors on HR matters, ensuring cross-functional integration and synergy.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Industrial Relations, or equivalent HR experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years of generalist HR experience.
  • Knowledge of the mining industry is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to communicate HR strategies to senior leadership and influence decision-making.
  • Experience in managing complex employee relations issues and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Strong transformation and change management skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration within a matrix structure.
  • Leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
