Overview
Anova Health Institute NPC, a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and quality of life, is seeking a responsible and courteous driver. The role involves providing safe and reliable transportation services to staff and participants, maintaining vehicle records, and ensuring the vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Transport staff to and from clinics, the office, and events held on weekends and public holidays.
- Assist with setting up and packing away equipment at events.
- Collect and deliver equipment and documentation as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client demographics using the transport service.
- Keep detailed logs of kilometers traveled and manage site visits.
- Report any vehicle accidents or damage immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is fueled, clean, and regularly serviced.
- Prepare accident and incident reports as required.
- Comply with traffic regulations and practice defensive driving.
- Adhere to Anova’s policies and procedures.
- Provide additional services as requested by management.
- Assist with photocopying, distribution of documents, and other office duties.
- Assist in the collection and delivery of goods and materials.
Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License
- Matric certificate or equivalent work experience
- Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP)
- Completion of a Defensive Driving Course is advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in the local language
