Overview
VKB Agriculture (Pty) Ltd, a dynamic agricultural company located in the Northeast Free State with additional interests in Limpopo, is seeking three Artisan Assistants to join our VKB Engineering Services team. This permanent position offers a chance to develop your skills in a professional, competitive work environment within the agricultural industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with daily maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic electrical duties under supervision, including using electrical hand tools such as grinders, drills, and test meters.
- Clean cables and electrical equipment during routine maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while executing work orders.
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and neatness.
- Participate in training programs to work towards professional qualifications.
Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF4.
- Relevant welder qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical fields.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid trade certificate (advantageous).
