UBUHLEBEZWE MUNICIPALITY is excited to announce a Fire Fighter Learnership program aimed at individuals passionate about serving their community, dedicated to firefighting, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This learnership presents an opportunity to train and become an essential part of our firefighting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in firefighting and rescue operations.
  • Engage in theoretical and practical training sessions.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all operations.
  • Maintain equipment and participate in routine checks.
  • Collaborate with team members effectively.

Requirements:

  • South African citizenship.
  • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations.
  • No criminal record.

Preferred Skills:

  • First Aid certification is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of firefighting principles or prior experience is a plus.
  • Driver’s license (Code B or higher).

Location: UBUHLEBEZWE MUNICIPALITY, KZN

Remuneration: Successful candidates will receive a stipend during the learnership period.
