Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Les Genes, Botswana. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting tender management processes. Key Responsibilities
-Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of tender documents.
-Ensure compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
-Prepare purchase orders and quotations.
-Monitor and strictly adhere to tender submission deadlines, including document formatting and binding.
-Compile bid submission documents.
-Gather tender information through online research.
-Act as a liaison between the company, suppliers, and clients.
-Handle inquiries, provide updates, and facilitate effective communication.
-Maintain a tender database to track statuses and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in an administrative or similar role, with familiarity in office management systems.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal Attributes:
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Additional Requirement: A valid driver’s license.
