Job Overview

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd t/a Nutri Feeds Botswana is seeking an experienced and reliable Staff Transport Bus Driver to manage the safe and timely transportation of staff to and from the feed mill in Pilane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport staff to and from work according to a pre-determined schedule.
  • Maintain an accurate logbook of all trips and ensure all entries are logged properly.
  • Monitor the condition of staff transport vehicles and report any signs of wear and tear.
  • Ensure all necessary vehicle tools and spares, such as spare wheels and warning triangles, are present at all times.
  • Manage the renewal of all required permits for company vehicles promptly.
  • Schedule regular maintenance services for company vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Uphold the highest standards of personal and vehicle hygiene.
  • Avoid driving on unsuitable roads.
  • Adhere to Botswana’s road and safety regulations at all times.
  • Prevent misuse of company vehicles and ensure they are only used for official purposes (vehicles are under 24-hour surveillance).
  • Secure company vehicles at all times.
  • Report any faults or incidents immediately to the Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Form Three (or equivalent) and above.
  • Possess a valid PrDP license.
  • At least two (2) years of professional driving experience.
  • Prior experience as a combi or bus driver is highly desirable.
  • Must be in good physical health.
  • Ability to work flexible and odd hours within a 24-hour schedule.
  • Secure accommodation for vehicle parking within close proximity to the feed mill.
  • Demonstrate sobriety and a commitment to safe driving.
