Overview
Totalsports, part of TFG and the #HomeofSport, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administration Controller to join our dynamic team in Gaborone, Botswana. This role is key in ensuring the smooth operation of store administration and supporting the achievement of sales and customer service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
-Support the Store Manager with stock-taking and store administration tasks.
-Monitor and analyze stock movement and implement risk management procedures to mitigate losses and shrinkage.
-Ensure compliance with all administration systems, procedures, and reporting requirements.
-Extract and analyze store reports to monitor turnover and stock performance, providing insights to the Store Manager.
-Organize and maintain in-store filing systems for efficient record-keeping.
-Monitor and control cash or transactional activities to ensure adherence to processes.
-Uphold store safety and security procedures to protect assets and customers.
-Process customer transactions through the retail system (POS) efficiently.
-Professionally engage with customers to identify their needs and build loyalty by promoting cash reward programs.
-Contribute to improving the customer experience and satisfaction through proactive initiatives.
-Ensure adherence to visual merchandising principles and housekeeping standards.
-Continuously develop selling skills and product knowledge to enhance performance.
-Work collaboratively within a team to achieve sales targets and implement store objectives.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of retail or administration experience (required).

- Interest in fashion and retail trends.
- Strong administrative abilities with excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in computer applications and retail systems.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
