Legae Academy is looking for a passionate and qualified History Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape young minds by teaching History at the IGCSE and A-Level, contributing to the Academy’s commitment to academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

-Deliver high-quality History lessons aligned with the IGCSE and A-Level syllabus.

-Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners.

-Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring mastery of historical concepts and critical analysis skills.

-Promote historical inquiry and encourage students to engage with primary and secondary sources.

-Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and grades.

-Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and active participation.

-Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and ongoing professional development activities.

-Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.

-Contribute to the Academy’s extracurricular programs and events.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in History or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of IGCSE and A-Level teaching experience.
  • Professional Qualification: Recognized teaching certification or qualification.
