Responsibilities:
-Deliver and collect parcels/mail to and from various destinations, including the post office and life offices.
-Ensure timely delivery of packages.
-Manage incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
-Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle.
-Record all trips and kilometers traveled.
-Ensure the vehicle is adequately fueled at all times.
-Report any necessary repairs and maintenance.
-Notify the Head of Service Administration when the vehicle’s license disc needs renewal.
-Report accidents to the Head of Service Administration and open a case at the police station if involved in an accident.
-Complete and submit claim forms to the Short Term Insurance Clerk when necessary.
-Wear the uniform at all times.
-Familiarize yourself with the geographical areas for deliveries and collections.
-Obtain authorization from the Head to deliver the vehicle for servicing to an authorized dealer.
-Maintain and update the vehicle logbook.
-Assist with ad hoc duties within the department when not engaged in deliveries.
-Purchase items for various departments as required.
-Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Head: Service Administration and the Head.
Requirements:
-Minimum of Grade 10 education.
-Valid Code 10 vehicle license.
-Punctuality and reliability.
-Good physical and medical condition.
