Overview:
EH Construction Excavator Hire is seeking 2 experienced Dozer Operators to join our team at the 50MW Mmadinare Solar Cluster Phase 2 project. Successful candidates will operate CAT D8/D6 dozers and ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
-Operate CAT D8/D6 dozers using hydraulic and manual controls.
-Perform pre-start checks and equipment preparations.
-Implement safety measures and handle inventories.
-Maintain compliance with company, state, and Debswana Mines health and safety regulations.
-Ensure machines are maintained, cleaned, and operational.
-Complete daily plant sheets.
Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment screening, physicals, drug tests, and background checks.
- Ability to read and understand operators’ manuals and instructions.
- Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated with a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Junior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Certification from Madirelo Training & Testing Centre.
- Class H license (Special Type).
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy-duty vehicles in the construction industry.
- Defensive Driving Training is an added advantage.
