Job Overview

First National Bank (FNB) is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Client Portfolio Analyst to join our team in Palapye. This role involves supporting the Client Portfolio Executive by managing client portfolios, including credit facility approvals and quality risk management. Key Responsibilities

-Assist the Client Portfolio Executive in managing and administering client portfolios, ensuring proper credit facility approvals and ongoing risk management.

-Educate clients on available solutions and maintain strong, long-term relationships.

-Monitor process turnaround times and quality standards, resolving issues promptly to enhance client service delivery.

-Build and manage professional working relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff.

-Stay informed on legislative amendments, industry best practices, and internal compliance procedures to maintain expert knowledge.

-Plan, manage, and complete tasks efficiently within designated timelines.

-Ensure strict adherence to business systems, procedures, and compliance requirements.

-Develop and maintain standardized documentation, such as templates, guidelines, and FAQs, to streamline operations.

-Conduct performance analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and reengineering.

-Provide reliable business intelligence through data analysis and trend monitoring to support decision-making.

-Collect and analyze information to support reporting, performance reviews, and identification of improvement opportunities.

-Develop and review personal development plans with team leaders or managers to ensure growth and skill enhancement.


Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in credit risk management, portfolio analysis, or a related role is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
