1. Handyman: Locksmith and Furniture Removal Services
Location: Radio Park and Television Centre
Closing Date: 29 January 2025
Purpose:
Provide locksmith services, assist with furniture removal, and support building maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform key cutting, lock replacements, and other locksmith services.
- Assist artisans with maintenance tasks.
- Transport office furniture and prepare spaces for events.
- Maintain storerooms and tools in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements:
- NQF 4/N3 Certificate in Carpentry, Bricklaying, or Painting.
- 1 year of experience in locksmith services and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of OHS and Building Regulations.
2. Team Leader: Civil Engineering
Location: SABC Properties
Closing Date: 29 January 2025
Purpose:
Manage building maintenance schedules and ensure optimal functionality of facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans.
- Oversee building inspections and repair projects.
- Ensure compliance with OHS and NKP Acts.
- Manage contracts and SLAs with service providers.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree advantageous).
- 8 years of experience in building maintenance, with 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of project and contract management.
3. Artisan: Painter
Location: Various SABC Locations

Purpose:
Carry out painting, decoration, and general building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic painting of walls, roofs, and other structures.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with building standards.
- Assist with training and development of technical assistants.
Requirements:
- NTC3/N3 and Trade Test Certificate in Painting.
- 5 years of experience in painting and building maintenance.

4. Artisan: Electronics (Security Systems and Equipment)

Key Responsibilities:
- Process airtime bookings and manage campaign schedules.
- Ensure compliance with SABC policies and media regulations.

- N5/N6 in Marketing, Advertising, or Media.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales operations, including bookings and reconciliations.

- Perform building repairs and inspections.

- 5 years of experience in building maintenance.
