Overview:

We are looking for a Beauty Assistant to join our team at Clicks. This permanent position offers an opportunity to work in the Wholesale & Retail Trade industry, specifically within the FMCG, Retail, Wholesale, and Supply Chain sectors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty products and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Customer Consultation: Provide professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products to customers.

Sales Achievement: Promote, cross-sell, and up-sell products to meet monthly sales targets.

Product Performance: Monitor sales and evaluate product performance, offering suggestions to improve offerings and increase sales.

Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events.

Operational Efficiency: Manage stock effectively, minimize shrinkage, and maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration.

Visual Merchandising: Ensure in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are met consistently.

Customer Service: Act as a brand ambassador, delivering friendly and professional service, and promoting the Clicks clubcard.

Brand Loyalty: Increase profitability and customer loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.

Company Values: Uphold and drive company values to make the brand the customer’s first choice in health and beauty retail.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

-Essential: Grade 12

-Desirable: Relevant beauty/skincare qualification

Experience:

-Desirable: Experience in beauty/skincare, retail, FMCG, or sales/marketing environments

Skills and Abilities:

-Understanding of selling principles

-Retail/FMCG background with knowledge of merchandising and promotions

-Stock management procedures

-Customer service excellence

-Knowledge of beauty and skincare products

-Strong customer orientation and good communication skills

-Confidence and engaging interpersonal skills
