Overview
SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, is seeking a Driver for its Geochemistry Laboratory in Orkney (Vaal River Laboratory). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reliable and courteous transportation services while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
-Provide safe and efficient transportation services as required.
-Perform deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
-Operate and maintain accurate transport records.
-Adhere to all SGS quality and safety standards.
-Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles.
-Complete any other tasks assigned by the direct line manager.
Requirements
–Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
–Valid driver’s license.
-Minimum of three years of driving experience.
-Strong attention to detail and integrity.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
–Punctual, flexible, and reliable.
-Good knowledge of the North West region.
-Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation.
-Ability to read and write in English.
