1. Accounts and Admin Officer

Job Description:

  • Perform data entry on accounting software.
  • Prepare daily and monthly financial reports.
  • Process payroll, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax laws.
  • Support budget preparation and monitor expenditures against allocated budgets.
  • Ensure smooth office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Organize and maintain important documents and records in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist management with various administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Accounting-related qualification or currently pursuing one (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, AAT, ACCA, BICA, CIMA).
  • Registered in good standing with Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or administration (advantageous).
  • Ability to work independently and in teams at all professional levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks knowledge is an added advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

2. Stock Control and Admin Officer

Job Description:

  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and alignment with company needs.
  • Track stock movements and ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions.
  • Conduct stock audits to compare physical stock with inventory records, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of goods in warehouses or stock areas.
  • Maintain detailed stock reports, including stock levels, turnover, and anticipated shortages.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and supply chain management.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Organize and maintain records in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist management with administrative and financial tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or office administration (1-3 years preferred).
  • Experience using stock management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
