Overview:
Kalcon Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and qualified First Aider to provide emergency medical assistance and ensure the safety of workers at the Khoemacau Paste Backfill Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering first aid, assessing injuries, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid treatment to injured employees.
- Assess and monitor injuries to determine the need for further medical assistance.
- Maintain first aid kits and emergency medical supplies.
- Report and document all workplace injuries and incidents.
- Educate employees on basic first aid and workplace safety practices.
- Liaise with emergency services if further medical care is required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Certification in First Aid (Level 1, 2, or 3) from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as a First Aider in a construction or mining environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in high-risk environments and handle emergencies professionally.
