Overview:
Kalcon Pty Ltd is looking for a responsible Fire Marshal to oversee fire safety measures at the Khoemacau Paste Backfill Project. The Fire Marshal will be responsible for preventing and responding to fire emergencies while ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire risk assessments and implement fire prevention measures.
- Ensure that fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are regularly inspected and maintained.
- Lead fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Educate staff on fire safety procedures and the proper use of firefighting equipment.
- Respond to fire emergencies and coordinate firefighting efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections and incidents.
Requirements:
- Fire Marshal certification or relevant fire safety training.
- Previous experience in firefighting or fire safety management.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
