Overview:
Kalcon Pty Ltd is seeking a vigilant Spotter to assist in ensuring safety during construction and mining operations. The Spotter will monitor work activities, guide equipment operators, and help prevent accidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and guide heavy machinery operators in restricted areas.
- Ensure that workers maintain a safe distance from moving equipment.
- Report hazards and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel using signals and radio communication.
- Assist in implementing safety measures on-site.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a construction or mining environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for operating near heavy equipment.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
