POST 07/234: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – INSTITUTIONAL PERFORMANCE

Salary: R444,036 – R532,602 per annum
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Administration, Statistics, or Internal Auditing.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in institutional performance or data management within the public sector.
- Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills with proficiency in MS Office and relevant public service systems (EQPRS, PIMS).
Duties:
- Support the facilitation of departmental information sessions and advise management on performance verification.
- Design data collection instruments and collate inputs for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Evaluate programme impacts and assist with implementing performance measurement frameworks.
- Represent the Department at national and provincial meetings on monitoring and evaluation matters.

POST 07/233: SENIOR MANAGER – TRANSPORT REGULATIONS

Salary: R1,216,824 – R1,433,355 per annum (Level 13, all-inclusive package)
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification at NQF Level 7 (SAQA recognized) with a degree in Traffic Management.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a middle to senior managerial role in the transport regulation environment.
- SMS pre-entry certificate from the National School of Government, valid Code B driver’s license, and in-depth knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act, transport strategic frameworks, and related public sector legislation.
- Strong competencies in stakeholder management, budgeting, strategic planning, and human resource management.
Duties:
- Oversee the issuing of motor vehicle licenses, vehicle registration, and authorization processes.
- Manage the National Traffic Information System (NaTIS) and ensure compliance with driver and vehicle regulation standards.
- Enforce traffic law, manage operating licenses/permits, and drive traffic safety initiatives.
- Supervise a dedicated team, manage resources, and ensure quality service delivery in transport regulation.
