Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Australia Awards Scholarships 2026, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible country and apply from their country of citizenship.
  • Not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Not be married or engaged to a person with Australian or New Zealand citizenship/residency.
