Purpose Statement:

To enhance the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling, and exceeding the client’s needs, by using the Global One product offering to support our clients to Bank Better and Live Better.


Responsibilities:

-Provide excellent client service.

-Use the Global One product offering to meet and exceed client needs.

-Support clients in banking better and living better.


Experience:

Minimum:

-3 to 6 months of client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment, OR

-Relevant tertiary qualification for candidates with no experience.

Ideal:

  • More than 1 year of client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment.
  • Proven track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.

Ideal/Preferred:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar.
  • Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge:

Minimum:

-Basic calculations.

-Retail/consumer service environment.

  • Ideal:
    • Capitec Bank Products.
    • Internal business processes and procedures.
    • Organisational Policies, including Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills:

-Communication skills.

-Interpersonal and relationship management skills.

-Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).


Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognisable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
