Overview
Letsema Horticulture Market is looking for a motivated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient processes that contribute to staff satisfaction and organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
-Maintain accurate personnel records and manage employee data
-Handle leave applications, time and attendance monitoring
-Support performance appraisals and training initiatives
-Assist in payroll preparation and related HR reporting
-Provide HR-related administrative support to the Finance and Administration Manager
-Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
-At least 2 years’ working experience in an HR role
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Knowledge of Botswana labour laws and HR practices
-Good interpersonal and communication skills
-Discretion, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail
