Overview:

BOTIC Construction (Pty) Ltd is seeking qualified and experienced Electricians to join our team for an upcoming large-scale solar panel electricity system installation project in Jwaneng, Botswana. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renewable energy initiative that supports Botswana’s green energy future.

Available Positions:

1. Senior Electricians (Team Leaders) – 10 Positions

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in electrical systems (preferably with solar installations)
Trade Test Certificate or equivalent qualification
Strong leadership and supervisory experience
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
Knowledge of health and safety procedures

2. Junior Electricians – 30 Positions

Requirements:

1 to 3 years’ experience in electrical installations
Basic understanding of electrical systems
Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment

Key Responsibilities (All Roles):

Installation of solar panels, wiring systems, inverters, and control components
Strict adherence to safety regulations and installation protocols
Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and project managers on-site
Ensuring quality workmanship and timely project delivery
Accurate reporting of progress, incidents, and site conditions
