Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to ensure safe transportation for passengers while adhering to all road regulations and safety standards. This role requires meticulous vehicle checks, adherence to schedules, and professional communication with passengers.
Responsibilities:
-Drive a passenger-carrying vehicle in compliance with the National Road Traffic Act.
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
-Maintain accurate trip logs including opening and closing kilometers.
-Operate vehicles safely and punctually according to set timetables.
-Adhere to traffic rules and regulations in various conditions.
-Wear prescribed uniforms and maintain professional conduct with customers.
-Provide courteous and friendly service to all stakeholders.
-Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle before trips.
-Report any vehicle defects promptly to the Operations Controller.
-Timely reporting of vehicle license and COF expiry.
-Follow emergency and evacuation procedures as required.
-Attend safety and compliance meetings.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of active passenger driving experience on buses.
- Valid Driver’s License Code EC1 (0,4) or EC.
- Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
Technical Competencies:
- Advanced Driving Skills.
- Basic writing and numeracy skills.

Compliance/Statutory Requirements:
- Familiarity with OHS Act, AARTO Act, and National Road Traffic Act.
