Responsibilities
-Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any non-conformance.
-Operate the forklift safely at all times.
-Offload trucks during the intake season and transport raw materials to production lines.
-Correctly stack products and ensure bins from production are properly organized.
-Ensure safe stacking of empty bins and maintain cleanliness of bins going into stacks.
-Remove damaged bins from stacks and load empty bins for intake depots.
-Conduct weekly cleaning of the forklift.
-Transport products and equipment as needed.
-Provide raw materials to the Pre-Clean Production area.
-Offload trucks with products from outside depots and suppliers during intake season.
-Plan and prioritize machine supplies based on production plans provided by Production Supervisors.
-Influence machine downtime and Overall Efficiency Effectiveness (OEE) by ensuring timely supply of raw materials.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of Grade 12.
- Valid Forklift license.
- Must pass a medical assessment.
- At least two years of experience as a Forklift Driver.
