Overview
Toys R Us & Babies R Us, the βWorldβs Greatest Toy Storesβ, is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our Hemingways store team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about retail, committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and eager to contribute to excellent store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and process all transactions accurately.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer enjoys a WOW experience.
- Attend to customersβ individual needs and provide product advice.
- Promote and sell goods, including add-on sales and services.
- Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards.
- Examine and process returned goods according to policy.
- Ensure goods are correctly priced and displayed.
- Prepare and maintain advertised sales promotions at POS.
- Participate in stock takes and counts.
- Minimize stock loss and control expenses in area of responsibility.
- Protect company assets.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
- At least 6 monthsβ retail experience.
- Own or reliable transport (must be able to work shifts).
