Overview
PEP, South Africaβs largest single-brand retailer, is hiring Part-Time Sales Assistants nationwide. This flexible role offers up to 27 hours per week, making it ideal for students, parents, or anyone seeking a part-time retail career. Key Responsibilities
–Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
–Sales & Promotions: Promote sales, share information about deals, and help the store achieve sales targets.
–Cash Handling: Operate tills, process payments accurately, and maintain financial honesty.
–Stock Management: Receive, organise, and display stock to keep the store well-presented.
–Store Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
–Team Collaboration: Support colleagues to create a positive and cost-effective store environment.
Entry Requirements
-Matric Certificate.
-Clear criminal record.
-Must live within 15km of the job location.
-Proficiency in English and/or Afrikaans.
-Basic computer literacy.
-Strong interest in retail and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Previous experience as a Sales Assistant, Cashier, or in retail/customer service.
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer engagement.
- Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
