Overview
Indigo Brands, a subsidiary of AVI Limited, is seeking a part-time Driver for 80 hours per month to join our team in Cape Town. Indigo Brands, a leader in personal care and beauty products, has been manufacturing and distributing global brands such as Yardley and Lenthéric since 1995. Our products include perfumed body sprays, roll-on deodorants, body care, face care, color cosmetics, and liquid fragrances. The successful candidate will assist with all delivery functions related to Indigo/AVI deliveries.
Responsibilities
–Professional Representation: Represent the company professionally while performing delivery duties.
–Document and Parcel Delivery: Collect and deliver documents or parcels to various suppliers/vendors.
–Customer Deliveries: Handle special deliveries to customers.
–Local Deliveries: Execute local deliveries efficiently and safely.
–Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain safety standards and housekeeping during deliveries.
–Meetings: Attend green area meetings as required.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual ability.
- Capability to work independently with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Physical fitness to handle physical work.
- Qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PdP) and Dangerous Goods (DG) certification.
- Reliable transport.
