Purpose: Own end-to-end payroll in Sage 300 People (~1,500 employees), ensuring accurate, compliant, and on-time payments, reconciliations and statutory submissions.
Key responsibilities: Multi-payroll processing • Bulk imports/exports • Maintain master data & timekeeping integrations • Reconcile before final run • EMP201/EMP501/UIF submissions • Management reports (billing, trend analysis).
Requirements: 3–5 yrs payroll (Sage 300 People expert) • Advanced Excel • Strong accuracy, deadlines & compliance mindset.

2) Recruitment Officer (Temporary) – SPARK Schools Support Rosebank (2025)

Purpose: Deliver an efficient, values-aligned recruitment & selection process for the SPARK network.
Key responsibilities: Talent attraction & job postings • CV screening & telephonic vetting • Coordinate tests, demos & interviews • Candidate feedback & offers • Background checks (qualifications, crim, fingerprints) • Internal moves facilitation • Reporting & dashboard upkeep.
Requirements: Relevant bachelor’s degree • 1–3 yrs recruitment/talent experience • Strong coordination, confidentiality, systems & data skills • Deadline driven; collaborative communicator.

3) Digital Marketing & Web Development Specialist – SPARK Schools Support

Purpose: Drive digital strategy, PPC/SEO performance, and web asset excellence to boost brand awareness and qualified lead generation.
Key responsibilities: Multi-horizon digital roadmap • Own websites/landing pages/virtual tours • Fix bugs & optimise UX • Manage agencies & QA • Build/run Google/Facebook/LinkedIn/YouTube campaigns • A/B testing, keyword management & SEO • Power BI dashboards • Weekly–annual performance reporting.

4) Sales & Credit Control Operations Manager – SPARK Schools Support Office

Purpose: Optimise the full enrolment funnel and school-fee collections to support growth and cash flow; lead call-centre operations and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities: Enquiry-to-onboarding conversion • SOPs/scripts/training • CRM utilisation & data accuracy • Invoicing, allocations, reminders & dispute resolution • Aged-debt reduction & bad-debt risk management • Process automation & systems integration • Call-centre staffing, QA & coaching • KPI dashboards, forecasting & reporting • Team leadership.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Business/Finance/Education Mgt (or similar) • 5+ yrs ops/sales/credit control (3+ yrs call-centre management) • Proven enrolment/collections delivery • Commercial, customer-centric, highly organised.

5) Child Protection Officer – High School – SPARK Schools

Purpose: Lead safeguarding across SPARK High Schools—policies, training, case oversight, behaviour management and restorative practices; support school-based social workers and strengthen the Character Quotient (CQ) framework.
Key responsibilities: Policy & framework design • Programme planning & evaluation • Case management guidance • Behaviour & restorative practice enhancements • CQ implementation • Capacity building & knowledge management.
Requirements: Relevant qualification (Social Work/Social Science) • SACSSP registration • 3–5 yrs child-protection work (school context advantageous) • 5+ yrs with vulnerable children • Training material development • Strong legislative knowledge & documentation skills.

6) Compliance Officer (Occupational Health & Safety) – SPARK Schools Support

Purpose: Own organisation-wide OHS compliance, risk mitigation, training and continuous improvement across schools and Support Office.
Key responsibilities: Maintain & update OHS policies/SOPs • Quarterly internal audits & action tracking • Toolbox talks & training coordination • Emergency readiness & fire drills • Certificates & licence renewals • DoEL/Health inspections • Incident/accident investigation & reporting (incl. IOD) • Crisis management plan • Monthly site visits & supplier oversight.
Requirements: Related degree + OHS training • 3–5 yrs OHS/compliance experience • Deep OHS Act knowledge • Schooling environment exposure advantageous • Customer-oriented, analytical, decisive.

7) Contracts & Project Manager – SPARK Schools Support

Purpose: Bridge vendor contract oversight and delivery of IT services/solutions—ensure compliant agreements and on-time, in-scope project execution.
Key responsibilities: Draft/negotiat e/manage IT vendor contracts • SLA/POPIA/B-BBEE compliance & performance reviews • Central contract repository • Plan & track multi-stakeholder IT projects (scope, timelines, budgets, risks) • UAT, training & change coordination • Exec reporting.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Business/IT/Law (or related) • 5+ yrs project/vendor/contracts management • Strong SA contract law & procurement knowledge; POPIA • PMP/PRINCE2 essential • Familiar with MS Project/Jira; B-BBEE assessments experience preferred.
