Overview
Premier, a leading FMCG company, is recruiting a General Worker Picker to join its Warehouse team at the Cape Town Mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling part pallet loads and preparing products for delivery while maintaining compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.
This role requires a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who can handle manual labour and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Assemble part pallet loads and prepare products for delivery vehicles.
-Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to Food Safety and Health & Safety rules.
-Assist in general warehouse operations, including loading, sorting, and packaging.
-Record and report product movements and inventory data accurately.
-Ensure all handling of goods meets company quality standards.
-Follow standard operating procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
–Grade 12 (Matric) β Essential.
–2β3 yearsβ experience in an FMCG environment (advantageous).
-Exposure to warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
–Forklift license will be an added advantage.
-Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per company roster.
-Must be physically fit to handle manual lifting of heavy crates.

Working Hours
- Five-day work week, with flexibility for overtime, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as required.
