Overview
Burgess & Partners (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Truck Driver with extensive experience in both long and short-distance driving. The ideal candidate must be customer-oriented, committed to timely deliveries, and possess a Code 14 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP). This is a permanent, full-time position based in Edenvale.
Responsibilities
-Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis, ensuring excellent service.
-Prepare quotes and invoices accurately and efficiently.
-Perform scheduled work and ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
-Be willing to work overtime in accordance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA).
-Maintain the overall cleanliness and neatness of the vehicle.
-Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules.
-Ensure personal grooming and presentation are neat and professional.
-Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license with a PrDP.
- At least 5 years of truck driving experience.
- Clean criminal record.
- Experience in plumbing is highly advantageous.
