Overview
Pindulo VDM is seeking a skilled Ultra Heavy Duty Truck Driver for our operations in Alrode, Gauteng. This role offers permanent, part-time, and full-time opportunities for experienced drivers with a valid code 14 license and a current Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP).
Responsibilities
-Operate and maneuver large vehicles safely.
-Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the truck.
-Lift and handle loads up to 25kg.
-Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
-Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
-Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid code 14 license and current Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP).
- Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
- Proficiency in driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles.
- Physical fitness to sit for extended periods and perform truck maintenance.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional driving experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience driving abnormal loads.
- Ability to reverse with a link.
- Experience with Side Tipper, Flat Deck, or Tautliner.
- Dangerous Goods certification on the license is advantageous.
