Overview
Skip Hire, one of Botswana’s leading refuse and waste management companies, is seeking a highly skilled and competent individual to fill the position of Front End Loader & TLB Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently while ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities
-Operate various machinery including Front End Loader and TLB
-Safely operate equipment for loading, compressing and dumping
-Ensure assigned machinery is fuelled, equipped, lubricated and serviced
-Wash interior and exterior of assigned machines and report repairs immediately
-Complete daily work orders and record information accurately
-Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
-Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and the public
Minimum Requirements and Skills
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating Front End Loader & TLB with a reputable company
-Class B / EC driver’s licence
-Minimum of BGCSE or equivalent high school completion certificate
-Strong operating skills
-Sound knowledge of waste management (advantage)
-Strong attention to detail
-Good interpersonal skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Good organizational and communication skills
