Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive heavy vehicles, specifically Code 14/EC trucks, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
- Transport goods to various destinations in compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 14/EC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Code 14/EC Driver in the transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to operate heavy vehicles with precision and caution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in long-haul or logistics transportation.
- Additional certifications related to driving or logistics.
