Overview
Campbell Fresh, based in Epping 1, is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver with a Code C license to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of stock using vehicles ranging from 1-ton to 12-ton capacity. This role requires dedication and a commitment to high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
-Safely operate 1-ton, 4-ton, and 12-ton vehicles to collect and deliver stock.
-Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, even if they occasionally fall outside the standard working hours.
-Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
-Communicate effectively with the team and resolve any issues that arise during transportation.
-Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid Code C driver’s license (or higher).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Police clearance certificate with no criminal record.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional driver.
- Experience with fresh produce (fruit and vegetables) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a working smartphone and SIM card.
- Strictly non-drinkers need to apply.
Compensation
- Salary: R6 500 – R8 500 per month.
