An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Artisan Assistant to support our skilled artisans in performing basic tasks, including removing covers, disassembling motors, and conducting repairs on fundamental equipment under supervision. This role involves utilizing limited tools and manual equipment while ensuring a clean and organized work environment in the workshop.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4/ N3
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, night shifts, and public holidays
- Commitment to adhering to safe working procedures
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with repairs and services to trucks and trailing equipment
- Supporting general work and maintaining housekeeping standards in the workshop
- Developing and nurturing positive relationships with fellow staff members
