Position: Apprenticeship Program

Location: Isando Coffee and Creamer Factory, Johannesburg

Duration: 3-year contract

Shifts: Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Optional Learning: Participation in optional learning programs available

Key Performance Areas:

As an Apprentice at National Brands Limited, you will:

  • Follow all lawful instructions promptly and effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations, including dress code and proper use of equipment.
  • Attend work regularly, execute duties diligently, and make consistent progress toward achieving competencies outlined in the training plan.
  • Participate in and attend training sessions or assessments according to the training plan.
  • Fulfill financial obligations by paying tuition and student fees as required by the training organization.
  • Maintain and update training records, producing them for the employer and/or training organization upon request.
  • Display professional conduct and behavior at all times.
  • Acknowledge the importance of workplace instructions and materials provided by the employer.

Apprenticeship Opportunities Available:

  1. Millwright Apprentice
    • Grade 12 / Matric qualification required
    • Completed and passed FET college N2 in Millwright
  2. Boilermaker Apprentice
    • Grade 12 / Matric qualification required
    • Completed and passed FET college N2 in Boilermaking
  3. Instrumentation Mechanician Apprentice
    • Grade 12 / Matric qualification required
    • Completed and passed FET college N2 in Instrumentation

Additional Requirements:

  • Immediate availability is a prerequisite.
  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure is essential.
  • Confidence and articulation in communication skills.
  • Reliability and commitment to completing tasks within specified deadlines.
