Overview

Eskom’s Grootvlei Power Station is offering a Learning Programme for six (6) Learner Plant Operators. This opportunity is available for both internal and external candidates and includes both theoretical learning and practical on-the-job training. The programme is designed to provide candidates with the skills and experience required for a career in plant operations.

Responsibilities

Participate in formal learning and hands-on training to develop the competencies necessary for the role of a Plant Operator.
Perform operational tasks under supervision to gain real-world experience and technical skills.
Follow the training program as outlined by Eskom to enhance operational knowledge and expertise.

Minimum Requirements

Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with a minimum of:
  - 50% in Mathematics
  - 50% in Physical Science
  - 40% in English
- N3 with a minimum of:
  - 50% in Mathematics
  - 50% in Science
  - 40% in English
- NCV Level 4 with a minimum of:
  - 50% in Mathematics
  - 50% in Science
  - 40% in English

Recruitment Process
