Purpose:
Lead the development and execution of a Corporate Employee Relations Strategy to foster positive employee relations and a high-performance culture. You will provide expert advice on employee relations, ensuring policies, procedures, and grievance management processes are handled efficiently, while contributing to organizational success. Reports to the Manager: Remuneration & Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for employee relations.
- Manage employee relations cases and provide management guidance.
- Lead policy development for discipline, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Provide training on employee relations for managers.
- Support collective bargaining and labor negotiations.
Requirements:
- Honours Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or equivalent.
- 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 in a unionized environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor law, and negotiation skills.
