Role Responsibilities: Primary Purpose:
To maintain an effective security presence, identifying and mitigating fire, safety, and security risks.
Key Duties:
-Identify, prevent, and minimize security-related risks.
-Report on loss control issues.
-Promote and maintain public and site labor relations.
-Control access and egress.
-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of site instructions and the Disciplinary Code.
- Keep site-related documents up to date.
- Liaise with clients through verbal or written reports.
- Participate in and promote team building on-site.
- Take responsibility for uniform, issued equipment, and any client property within the designated area.
- Maintain awareness of SABS ISO 9001 – 2000 quality procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 or higher
- PSIRA Grade C
- Clean criminal record
- Physically fit (ability to run 2.5km)
Knowledge:
- G4S standard operating procedures
- South African security legislation
- G4S operational and HR policies
- Health and Safety legislation

- Strong written and verbal communication
