Overview
Standard Bank is seeking a dedicated Consultant to handle customer interactions related to card and cash services, including teller operations, ATM assistance, and Moneygram transactions. The successful candidate will focus on understanding customer needs and delivering prompt and accurate services in line with the bank’s offerings and policies.
Responsibilities
-Attend to walk-in customers for card and cash-related services, including teller, ATM, and Moneygram transactions.
-Assess and understand customer needs to provide relevant financial solutions.
-Ensure that all transactions comply with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
-Collaborate with other departments within the branch to meet customer demands.
Requirements
- Qualifications: National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS recognized qualification).
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in branch operations.
- Knowledge of bank policies and procedures related to front-line support, foreign exchange, bulk cash, and ATM management.
- Understanding of legal aspects regarding cheques and cash handling.
- Familiarity with the functions of other departments within the branch.
