In South Africa, PepsiCo employs over 13,000 people across various divisions, including Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Snacks, Juice, and Beverages. We are looking for Clerk Sales Administration professionals to join our Cape Town HQ team, responsible for ensuring efficient sales operations and trade agreement administration.


Key Responsibilities

-Interpret trading terms and accurately capture approved Trade Agreements in SAP to ensure correct financial provisions

-Maintain an up-to-date Trade Agreement Summary, clearly indicating tax invoices, credit notes, or debit notes as per SARS Binding General Ruling (VAT) No. 6

-Coordinate with Customer Managers to update expired or soon-to-expire trading terms

-Review and comment on the monthly Rebate Validation Report, verifying actual rebate percentages against projections and previous year figures

-Calculate and prepare accurate settlement of rebate payments and claimed deductions, following valid trading terms for approval by the Sales Admin Controller

-Investigate discrepancies in monthly Rebate Reconciliation reports and take corrective actions as necessary

-Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and company policies

-Support internal, external, and SARS audits, ensuring timely execution of required actions


Requirements

-Matric qualification (a tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance is advantageous)

-At least 2 years of experience in an FMCG environment, with strong commercial and financial acumen

-Proficiency in systems and processes, including MS Office, SAP, SAP BI, and SAP CRM

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

-Results-driven with high attention to detail and ownership of responsibilities

-Customer-focused with the ability to adapt to changing demands

-Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

-Self-motivated, team-oriented, and emotionally intelligent
