Estimated Remuneration Package: R510,705.00 – R696,877.00 per annum
Job Purpose:
To provide support and assist in the supervision of the effective and efficient management of the National Housing Needs Register (NHNR), beneficiary administration, title deeds, conveyancing, and consumer education programmes in Regions 1, 3, and 6.
Application Requirements:
-Grade 12
-At least two years of relevant experience in human settlements beneficiary administration and conveyancing
-Supervisory experience is advantageous
-A valid Code 8 driving licence
-Computer literacy

Primary Functions:
-Manage and implement the National Housing Needs Register (NHNR), title deeds, and conveyancing in the region in collaboration with the team
-Supervise and administer the beneficiary administration and title deeds process, including housing subsidy applications and the filing and safekeeping of all documents
-Conduct inspections and verifications regarding housing projects as needed
-Compile statistics and information for reports through inspections and interactions with administrative officers
-Ensure timely submission of all reports
-Supervise the work of administrative officers and subordinates
-Address public and general office walk-in enquiries and complaints, ensuring deadlines are met
-Compile agendas and minutes for meetings and write reports in consultation with the manager
-Respond to internal and external correspondence within specified timelines
-Implement and ensure compliance with relevant policies, administrative systems, and procedures
-Manage all logistical and administrative matters
-Oversee the opening of house files and municipal service accounts for beneficiaries and consumers
-Perform other administrative duties and assist other regions or offices as directed by superiors
-Supervise the allocation process and ensure all forms are completed correctly with supporting documentation submitted
-Collaborate with provincial government and the Joint Allocations Committee as required
-Inform approved beneficiaries of their approvals and provide deceased beneficiaries with a referral letter to the Master of the High Court
-Communicate reasons for non-approval to beneficiaries who were not approved
-Ensure adherence to all policy and administration systems
-Conduct regular team meetings and attend meetings as required
-Implement consumer education programmes in the region as needed
