Position Overview
The Sales Representative will drive the sales of used vehicles by providing exceptional customer service, building and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets. This role involves managing the complete sales process—from understanding customer needs to closing deals—while identifying opportunities for business growth and new revenue streams. Additionally, you will assist with showroom setup and stay informed about vehicle offerings and market trends, contributing to the overall success of the Auto Pedigree brand.
Specific Responsibilities:
-Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities
-Familiarize yourself with vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features
-Develop strategies to achieve set sales targets
-Retain and grow the existing customer base
-Assist with showroom and display setup
-Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring proper documentation is collected
-Manage customer expectations to deliver effective service
-Commit to achieving sales targets by identifying and creating opportunities
-Explore new revenue streams and ensure customer escalations are handled effectively
-Negotiate agreements and close sales successfully
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
- At least 2 years of customer service and sales experience, with a proven sales track record (preferred)
- Relevant industry experience (preferred)
- Understanding of Auto Pedigree’s products and services (preferred)
- Familiarity with retail industry compliance (advantageous)
- NCA accreditation (advantageous)
- Knowledge of local languages (advantageous)
Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work weekends and shifts as required.
