Fields of Study:

Bursaries will be awarded for Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelors Degree, or Honours qualifications in the following fields:

Business Management (or closely related fields)

Human Resources (or closely related fields)

Legal (or closely related fields)

Marketing (or closely related fields)

Medicine / Medical Sciences (or closely related fields)

Purchasing / Logistics / Supply Chain (or closely related fields)

STEM-related fields: Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Medical/Quantitative fields


Bursary Benefits:

The Roche Diagnostics Bursary provides the following comprehensive support:

-Full coverage of registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, meals, laptop, and other necessities.

-Continuous psycho-social support provided by Excel@Uni.

-Light-touch mentorship to develop essential skills for personal and professional growth.

Job opportunities post-graduation: Recipients must accept job requests offered by the company.

-Renewable funding annually, based on academic performance and budget availability.


Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Roche Diagnostics Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
  • Age: You must be under 30 years old.
  • Education:
    • Currently in Matric (2024) or have already completed Matric.
    • Studying or intending to study full-time towards a qualification listed above (NQF level 6 or higher).
  • Institution: Must be enrolled or registered at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
  • Academic Performance:
    • Minimum overall average of 60% in the latest full academic year.
    • Minimum overall average of 50% if living with a disability.
