Overview
Absolute Pets, South Africa’s leading premium pet retailer with over 170 stores nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Driver to join their team at the Pinetown warehouse. This role ensures efficient delivery of products to stores while maintaining high standards of care and organization.
Responsibilities
-Deliver products to stores promptly according to the route schedule.
-Depart from the warehouse no later than 09:00 daily (Monday to Friday).
-Load the vehicle in an organized manner based on the dayโs delivery route.
-Verify all food items during vehicle loading.
-Ensure accurate deliveries to specific stores, with verification in the presence of the store team upon delivery.
-Handle products carefully during loading and unloading to minimize damages.
-Report any discrepancies found during deliveries to the warehouse manager.
-Verify and check all returned stock against IBT documentation, noting discrepancies as needed.
-Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
-Report any vehicle damages or breakages to the warehouse manager immediately.
-Uphold the companyโs values through professional behavior and performance.
-Assist with other general warehouse duties as required by operational needs.
Requirements
-Valid Code 10 driverโs license with PDP.
-Proven experience as a delivery vehicle driver.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
