Position Overview
The City of Tshwane is inviting applications for 100 Cleaner positions to support our commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic public spaces. Compensation
- Job Level: Cleaner (Contract)
- Salary Scale: R6,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning Tasks:
-Clean and maintain office spaces, passages, outdoor areas, and parking lots.
-Perform window cleaning, scrubbing, polishing, and vacuuming as needed.
-Maintain cleanliness in lifts, stairways, vehicles, toilets, washrooms, kitchens, and office equipment.
-Empty and sanitize bins and ashtrays.
Sanitation Management:
-Refill soap dispensers, paper holders, and deodorizer blocks in restrooms and kitchens.
Recycling Collection:
-Collect and organize recyclable paper for city-wide recycling initiatives.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
-Provide removal and cleaning services as requested by management.
Minimum Requirements
–Education: Basic literacy skills (reading and writing). Any grade accepted.
–Experience: Experience in office cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
–Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
–Flexibility: Willingness to be deployed or relocated within Tshwane as required.
